what we teach
Through the WR, we believe that all foods have a special place in our dietary patterns. However, in order to achieve ideal health, we focus on providing a base level of nutrients, adding foods as we progress while still controlling intake!
According to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, uncontrolled portion sizes can trigger an individuals internal cues to eat more than necessary. Through our program we recommend structured portions that help keep our clients on track.1
By educating our clients on how to re-establish a relationship with their internal cues, they will have a better grasp on understanding their body’s communication, addressing sensations nonjudgmentally and being continually present – which will essentially lead to greater success.2
